Diversity & Inclusion Manager (m/f/x)

Start now on a full-time basis and with a permanent contract in one of our offices in Central Europe as Diversity & Inclusion Manager (m/f/x).

Role Summary

Diversity and Inclusion has been identified as one of the Firm’s top priorities. This role will be part of the HR team, with a direct reporting line to the to the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion.  The Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of key strands of the Firm’s diversity and inclusion strategy globally.  They will act as a trusted adviser to stakeholders in the business and colleagues within HR, and as an expert advisor to clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on the development and implementation of projects within our key target areas – gender, LGBT, social mobility, race and ethnicity and disability – to further the Firm’s global diversity and inclusion strategy.
  • Lead on building our diversity and inclusion strategy alignment to clients, partnering with MBD, relationship partners and teams to create opportunities to connect with and collaborate with clients. Responsible for responding to client requests and proactive outreach.
  • Strong focus on developing internal engagement programmes that promote an inclusive culture and belonging.
  • Liaising with the Firm’s global offices and affinity networks to ensure local diversity and inclusion activities reflect the Firm’s global strategy.
  • Working closely with the internal and external communications team to ensure careful management of the Firm’s image and messaging around diversity and inclusion.
  • Seeking opportunities to collaborate with the Responsible Business teams to further the Firm’s responsible business strategy.
  • Developing links with key professional bodies and charities/external consultants, as appropriate.
  • Representing the Firm, where appropriate, at external events, forums and working groups.
  • Driving consideration for and involvement in the Firm achieving external recognition for its work on diversity and inclusion, such as awards and benchmarking indexes.
  • Working with the global reporting team on regular diversity metric reporting and analysis.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in diversity research and thinking.


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • At least 4 years experience working within a diversity and inclusion role or significant expertise in diversity and inclusion in an equivalent position. It is critical for this role to have experience in diversity and inclusion in at least two of our regions given the global scope, ideally in Continental Europe (excluding the UK), and/or the US, given our current team expertise
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Highly organised, resilient and able to cope with pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands on time and resource
  • Able to collaborate well with other teams within HR and across the Firm more broadly
  • Proficient IT skills
